A PLACE FOR ALL AGES AND STAGES

There’s no one "type” of person at Doxa. There are people that are newly married, single, divorced, engaged, with a newborn, have several kids, teenagers, college students, single parents, old and young.

There are people who’ve never been to a church and aren’t sure what they believe every week. There are also people with confident faith in Jesus. We’re a church looking to help the people of Tucson find hope and growth in Jesus.

A PLACE FOR
FAMILIES AND KIDS

If you have kids, you can arrive 15 minutes early to check them in to our kids ministry. Below is a list of common questions and answers about our kids ministry.
WHAT AGES?
We have classrooms available for infants (at least six weeks old) through fifth grade! Each of our classrooms have adult volunteers and unique programing specific to their age.
WHAT DO THE LESSONS LOOK LIKE?
We want kids to meet and follow Jesus. Your kids will sing worship songs, hear a message about Jesus, and have fun with kids like them.

The Biggest Story Bible curriculum by Kevin DeYoung is taught in classrooms as we believe this is the one of the highest quality kids curriculum available.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY KIDS?
On your first Sunday morning at Doxa, you'll walk into the courtyard and see a sign that says "Kids Check-In" right away. Walk towards that sign and our volunteers will help you check in, print security name tags for your kid(s), and show you where to drop them off!

You're not required to register your kids early, BUT it will save you some time and make your check-in experience much better if you do. Click the button below to plan your visit for faster check in!
WHAT IS THE SICKNESS POLICY?
To maintain the healthy and wellness of all our children, families, and volunteers, we kindly ask that you do not bring sick children to church.

The following are guidelines for when a child should be kept from home: fever, vomiting or diarrhea, respiratory illness, rash, head live, pink eye, or any time the child's behavior indicates that he/she is not feeling well enough to attend.
DO YOU OFFER ANYTHING FOR PARENTS?
Yes! We’re passionate about equipping parents to raise their kids as followers of Jesus. We offer carefully selected resources for sale at our bookstore to support you.
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT WITH MORE QUESTIONS?
If you have more questions about our kids programing, let us know! Click here to contact our Kids Ministry Interim Director, Kristyn Cummings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Everyone will be dressed in what’s comfortable. Some people rock button-ups. Others T-Shirts. If you look extra snazzy, more power to you. Feel comfortable to be yourself.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CHURCH?
Each weekend we gather to hear fresh, relevant, teaching from the bible that will impact your real life. A band leads us in a time of musical worship to Jesus. We have response times where people can go be prayed for, take communion (eat bread and drink juice remembering what Jesus did for us), and give to the mission.

If you’re new, we don’t pressure you to do things like take communion or give money. We actually don’t want you to because we give as a church to create space for you. We genuinely care about you. You are our valued guest.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
There is a sizable parking lot on the west side of the facility (on the corner of E 6th St and N Santa Rita Ave). Once you park, our parking team will be there to help guide you to the entrance.
WILL THERE BE COFFEE?
Absolutely! We'd love to treat you to a fresh cup of coffee. There will also be donut holes as well as other snacks to help you feel right at home.
