WORSHIP
WORSHIP LEADER
Have the ability to sing and harmonize well while leading and guiding others in worship. Those who volunteer in this position will be asked to attend practice prior to the Sunday morning that they are scheduled for.
MUSICIAN
Lead others in worship by skillfully playing an instrument. Those who volunteer in this position will be asked to attend practice prior to the Sunday morning that they are scheduled for.
SOUND ENGINEER
Mix and manage live sound so that others can hear everything properly. This role requires knowledge and experience in utilizing audio equipment. Those who volunteer in this position will be asked to join the band during practice hours.
VISUAL PRESENTER
Manage presenting software so that all graphics, lyrics, and slides are visible to all who attend on Sunday morning, allowing all to fully engage in worship and the preaching of the word of God. No expertise is required.

Be a warm and welcoming face to those that are attending Doxa Church on a Sunday morning so that they might experience the warmth of the love of Christ.
CAFE
Serve those who are attending Doxa Church by offering donut holes, refreshments, and other snacks in order to help each person feel at home when they attend a Doxa Church worship gathering.
RESOURCE CENTER
Manage the resource center so that people can purchase books, devotionals, and other resources in order to help further their walk with Christ. Those who volunteer in this role will be handling money and credit card transactions.
USHER
Help people find a seat in the worship center, set up more chairs (if/when needed), and carefully collect and handle the offering at the end of the service.

Be a warm presence in the courtyard and the worship center in order to build relationships with others before and after service to help them feel more connected and welcomed.
KIDS
CHECK IN
Welcome families so that parents feel confident about leaving their children and kids feel cared for and excited about being in Doxa Kids. These volunteers will be at the Doxa Kids front desk helping families get checked in, answering registration questions, and solving minor registration issues. During the service, check in volunteers will be available for classroom leaders.

Lead kids in activities and Christ-centered lessons in a way that kids are able to understand.

Lead kids in a small group discussion centered around the lesson. Those who volunteer in this position will also assist the teacher in games, crafts, and other miscellaneous activities.

PRE-K CLASSROOM LEADER
Create a warm and fun environment for young kids to engage by playing games, making crafts, and helping kids understand the lessons of the Bible.

TODDLER CLASSROOM LEADER
Help young children understand the basics of the gospel by playing games, making crafts, and sharing lessons about the Bible. Those who volunteer in this role will need be comfortable changing diapers.

Care for babies so that their parents are able attend service free from distractions. Those who volunteer in this role will need be comfortable changing diapers.

Assist the teachers and small group leaders in kids classrooms. This might include helping with games, crafts, and other activities while also building healthy, God-glorifying relationships with the kids.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Safety & security volunteers ensure Doxa Church is a safe place to worship by providing protective, medical, and emergency management type duties. Must be trained and experienced in law enforcement, public safety dispatch, or emergency medical service. Can also possess a similar type of training or background.
